To quote someone with more wisdom than I about our beloved Razorback sports programs: "Things are never as bad as they appear, and things are never as good as they appear." (recent exceptions: The Citadel and March of 1994)

I just don't get this team. We dominate two good teams ('Bama and LSU) and almost knock off #1. But we can't beat the teams that we are suppose to beat. Drives me nuts. It's been said that they play to the level of their competition and at times this is true. But how do you explain dominating Bama and LSU? That's playing above and beyond the competition.

The keys for this team are how we play team defense and Ervin. When Ervin has a great game, we tend to be in each of those games. When our team defense is creating turnovers, blocked shots, contested shots, and rebounding, it creates instant offense and allows are guys to create shots in transition. This team can play with anyone when this happens.

I agree totally Hogsdill… but I'll add one more… I don't think Ervin even has to have a "great game". I think if he just doesn't have a bad game then we'll be OK. It seems whenever he plays bad the team plays bad. I still don't want him ever taking a last second shot again.

Congratulations on the win. However, don’t get too excited about beating LSU. We’re a flawed team—No point guard, Glenn Davis is being exposed somewhat without Tyrus Thomas to back him up, John Brady is average at best. Also, Alabama is looking “overrated” as well. I think the SEC is going to look like a one team league by season’s end and Florida will not repeat.

I agree with you GeauxTigers. LSU is not the same team without Mitchell at PG, and T. Thomas at SF. 'Bama was expected to be very good this year, with good reason. They started out the season ranked in the top 10. But I agree they may be a little overrated. Florida, on the other hand, will be hard to beat, and will continue to get better, if they don't get the "big head", so I will reserve comment on the Gators until March. As far as the Hogs are concerned, I am excited about this team's future. For those of you that arn't convinced, about this team, when was the last time we lost the entire depth of our back court, not to mention 65% of our scoring, and 95% of our assists, and be this productive at this point of the following season? We should be very proud of this team. Sure, losing back to back games that we are supposed to win is frustrating, but remember, Ohio St didn,t come as close to beating Florida on the road as we did. Ole Miss is not as lousey as everyone thinks, especially on the road. And yes, they were allowed to play football in Oxford. Last, Georgia is starting to look like a pretty good basketball team. I am convinced of this, after watching them almost win at 'Bama. Steven Hill is starting to look like the stud he was supposed to be, coming out of high school. The best part of all of this, hog fans, is the best is yet to come. Beverly, Irvin, weems,McCurdy and Welsh, will only continue to get better. Next year could be a banner season.

It was cool watching Hill landing and yelling..

With an inside tandem like Hill, Townes & Thomas how could we not dominate the paint. I agree with the experts when they say that we can win as long as we control the paint with our obvios advantage and Gary Ervin plays unselfish.

Someone must have told Hill about how much money he can make in the NBA to make him start producing like this on offense.
