Hogwired.com: Beverley Named SEC Freshman of the Week
Arkansas guard Patrick Beverley has been named the Southeastern Conference’s Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.
In UA’s games against Mississippi State and Ole Miss, the Chicago native averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 52.6 percent from the field (10-19), including 53.3 percent from three-point range (8-15). He was also five-of-six at the free throw line (.833).
He had game highs of 24 points and four steals in the win over Ole Miss, along with five rebounds and five assists. He was seven-of-13 shooting, including six-of-11 on threes. At MSU, he had nine points on three-of-six shooting, including going two-of-four on threes. He also had three rebounds.

He will only continue to get better. Most talented freshman guard I've seen since Lee Mayberry.
