Have to read the news, but couple of questions.
From the Box Score.
LSU shot a lot more free throws that we did.
Shooting looked better for us except for Stephan (wassup with him).
Very proud of the way we came out and played in the 2nd half.
The fact that we didn't give up says a lot for coach Pelphrey.
It would be easy for this young squad to get into that bad habit on the road, but I think Pelphrey has made his mind up those days will stay in the past.
I think Welsh has played frustrated for a while now. He seems to get ahead of himself from time to time, much like our young Fresh. PG does.
I think he tries to push the issue too much when Fortson is off his game, only to make the matter worse.
I wish Sanchez was more of a playmaker inside. Washington desperately needs more help there.
All in all, this is a pretty decent team. They just need more exsperience and a little bit more muscle inside.
We still need to be patient.
GO HOGS GO!!!!!
A tale of two halves. Our worst folllowed by our best. Man, Sanchez looks clumsy and slow when up against some athletes like LSU. Maybe Pel can get these guys to realize that they can compete with anyone if they put it all out all the time.
