ArkansasRazorbacks.com: Key hit eludes Arkansas in 2-1 loss

Six Vanderbilt pitchers combined to allow just one run and Arkansas left nine men on base, including six in scoring position, as the Commodores clinched a three-game weekend series against Arkansas with a 2-1 win on Sunday afternoon at Baum Stadium.

Tough loss, on the other hand I believe we learned a lot from these games. Vandy had superb pitching, and so do we! Our pitchers are young and they are learning. If we would had swept this series we would be in top 10! That is a lot to ask for from this young team. This weekend we play #1 in the west, #25 in the nation Alabama. We swept them last year, I believe we can do it again, It will have to take the bats though. Don’t want to put the pressure on our young pitchers. We desperately need to win at least 2 of the 3. If not your going to see us drop back in the rankings tied with everyone else in the top 25.

Go Hogs Roll that Tide over Bama!!
