SB Nation BlogPoll Ballot – Week 7

Last Saturday proves why the College Football regular season is so great.  Three of the top six teams went on the road and came away empty, so we shuffle our Top 10 accordingly.

SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25 Logo 2South Carolina flexed its muscles in a 35-7 romp over Georgia.  The Gamecocks defensive front just manhandled the Bulldogs.  When Bulldog QB Aaron Murray gets a signature win…it will be his first.

We were completely impressed with Florida and their 14-6 win over LSU in the Swamp.  The Gators and RB Mike Gillislee (34 carries, 146 RuYds, 2TDs) just pounded, and pounded, and pounded LSU between the tackles.  And when the Tigers needed QB Zach Mettenberger most, he just wasn’t ready to deliver.

For the second week in a row, Florida State looked uninterested, and the NC State Wolfpack took advantage.  Senior QB Mike Glennon led a last minute Wolf Pack drive to make the Seminoles pay.  Does that dash FSU’s national championship hopes?

And finally, we welcome four new teams to our ballot this week.  Two of them – Louisiana Tech and Louisville – have head coaches being mentioned as possible candidates for the Arkansas job at year’s end.  Both Sonny Dykes and Charlie Strong have their teams a perfect 5-0 thus far.

You can find the complete BlogPoll here when it comes out each Tuesday. So, without further ado, here’s the RBN ballot this week:

    At the end of the
season, the champs of the SEC, BIg 12, Big 10 (Ohio State – although
ineligible ), Big East, Pac 12, Wac, and Notre Dame could all be
    undefeated.

    This could get nasty.

      Or,
At the end of the season, all, even the SEC champ might NOT be undefeated. As Sunshine says, that’s what’s great about college football. It’s not the pros, it’s just kids. It should be that way.
