Congratulations to reader classicalviolin for the closest prediction last week of 42-31. His quote: “Late flight into XNA last night was full of intoxicated A&M fans. Hoping they’ll cry in their beers but realizing that’s a long shot.” Yes…unfortunately Johnny ‘Paycheck’ came in and covered their bar tab. But congrats classicalviolin…an RBN T-shirt is headed your way to wear during your next flight…or virtuoso performance.
Here we go:
Walking on Sunshine: Of this tough, four-game stretch, this game against the Gators might be our best shot to steal one. Florida has one of the best defenses in America, but has struggled to score points. That combination should make for a low scoring affair. And with the confidence gained last week from hanging with the Aggies, I think the Hogs might find a way this week. Gut feeling…Hocker knocks it through. Arkansas 20, Florida 17.
HogBaller: The Hogs came up short against A&M last week, but made it closer and more competitive than I thought. Establish a running game against Florida, and they can beat the Gators for the first time since joining the SEC. Arkansas is 1-9 vs. Florida all-time, but this just might be the best chance of beating the Gators since 1982. The Razorback defense sets the tone as the Hogs survive in The Swamp. Arkansas 27, Florida 24.
HogBlogger: Time for this team to surprise. Arkansas 30, Florida 24.
TipsterHog: The SEC replaced Kentucky with Florida on the Hogs’ 2013 schedule. Thanks, Obama. Florida 24, Arkansas 13.
