Congratulations to longtime reader NuclearHog for the closest prediction last week of 30-10. His quote: “We are not good yet. Hope I’m wrong. Florida will not let up.” Yep…the chain reaction started in the second quarter and didn’t let up until the Hogs were spent. Time to put that one behind us. Well, except to say congrats NuclearHog…and send an RBN T-shirt your way.
Here we go:
Walking on Sunshine: The Gamecocks lackluster performance against Kentucky last week should give Hog fans some hope. But it’s not uncommon to let down against the Wildcats. Carolina has the talent edge on both sides of the ball. But with the Razorbacks at home, that is negated some. Bowl hopes get a boost. Arkansas 27, South Carolina 24.
HogBaller: The Razorbacks have a chance against South Carolina if they can get to Connor Shaw on defense and run the ball on offense. Look for the running backs to get back on track and hit the century mark again. The Hogs benefit from playing at home and win a close one. Arkansas 31, South Carolina 24.
HogBlogger: Home cooking is good for the Hogs. Arkansas 30, South Carolina 24.
TipsterHog: Not sure what my fellow RazorBloggers are seeing. The Razorback team I saw playing in The Swamp last week looked tired. Six straight games with a week off barely in sight will do that to a team. Maybe if the bye week was before this game. But unfortunately…it’s not. South Carolina 34, Arkansas 17.
