Even though i thought we should have fouled ky before they shot their final 3 pointer that tied the game and sent it to ot, im kinda glad we didnt because we wouldnt have seen the dunk by mr qualls. At any rate…ghg wps!..now win some road games and we’ll be in good shape for things to come.go hogs!

Its a bird, its a plane, it is Super Qualls!! Leaping Kentucky wild cats with a single bound!! Congratulations Qualls and teammates, CMA and staff, and all of the hog fans. This team has a lot of upside. Best game finish of all time for me. Qualls is loaded with excitement.

I must’ve watched that ending about dozen times. (And we just kept winning.) While Qualls was definitely the hero of the night, the performance was a whole team effort. Everybody contributed. I was especially proud of Portis for standing in there among the trees and more than holding his own. As Calapari acknowledged, their center was a non-factor. Very impressive for a freshman who was outsized. He got a double-double. A full house at the Bud saw it all happen in 3-D. This was a great win for the team, the fans, the program. I hope they can take the confidence from this win on the road, and prevail against GA and beyond. I’m afraid they could have a letdown, having used up so much energy sustaining the afterglow. I know if it was me I wouldn’t have slept for a couple of nights afterward, especially during the full moon. This team has a lot of talent, a lot of fight, a lot of heart.
