I’m very proud of the hogs! We had a great year, and coach A has us heading in the right direction. He will continue to establish the program that Arkansas fans will be proud of.
Things could have been different if we wouldnt have had so many turnovers…I.m.o. that was the dagger for us tonight. It just happened at a bad time for the hogs.
We missed some easy shots tonight as well but we still gave them a competitive challenge.
We will return to the dance soon especially if Portis and Qualls both stay another year.
Thank you hogs for giving us something to cheer for and returning the program to what the fans wanted to see!!..we will only continue to get better and better!

My amazing wife surprised me with a road trip to Jacksonville, FL ! We arrived an hour before the game. Great atmosphere and I’m proud of the hog fans that showed up.

The game was a good game! You could tell Roy Williams prepped for 2 things: 1.) screening the middle defender on the full court press and 2.) having his post players run constant figure 8’s while we were in matchup zone. Both of those killed us. Harris/Williams/Port is could not stay in the correct rotation and it caused crazy mismatches that led to them crashing the boards. It was a hard fought game and I’m proud of our guys!!

  3. A good, hard-fought game in the first half, which turned rather sloppy in the second half, when the Hogs gradually ran out of gas. Roy Williams and the ‘Heels schooled Anderson’s squad on Hogball. Hogs turnovers that led to ‘Heels points cost Arkansas the game. It was a great effort by the Hogs, nothing to hang your head about.

Congratulations to the Team for an outstanding season. You beat expectations by finishing a solid second in the regular season and the SEC tournament. Only #1 KY did better. A real achievement!

I would love to see Portis and Qualls return for next season, but I think they should evaluate their options and do what is best for themselves and their families. Thank you guys for all your hard work and fine play. Also to Ky Madden and Alandise Harris, who will be gone for certain. You have put Hawgball back on the map, so your work is much appreciated by Hogfans everywhere.

Also thanks to Tipster and the other Razorbloggers for your reporting and for providing this venue for comment on the season.
