Oh yeah, need I even mention the officials?? LOL.. They might as well had a sign on saying, the SEC has told us to make sure Arkansas doesn't win, or we will not get to officiate any big games anymore..LOL..

That's a bunch of nonsense, the game plan simply sucked, if you don't cover Florida's guards, they will score a lot of pts, end of story! They were out coached, out motivated, out played, and basically humiliated in history making fashion. You don't need to be an NBA all star to figure out how to beat Florida, which is why they will lose against good coached teams, before the season is out. #1. You have to have an inside game, they try and force you to take shots, and they simply out shoot you. #2. You have to play very tight on their guards, and adjust well to their many screens, and drives to the basket and kick outs. #3. They don't like you, they have an entitlement complex, and they feel like you're a threat to that, so they amp up their intensity against Arkansas. They hear all of the fan support, and that motivates them. They have a crappy gym, and that motivates them. They think they're entitled to the SEC, and they know they're corrupt, and they feel like we will be filled with hate, like they're, when other than occasionally when we play them, we never even think of them. So to summarize that rant, they hate you mostly because they're bigoted idiots, so you have to play with a lot of intensity, to match their's! The End!! And they're more talented also, let's be honest, their 3 guards are great, not good, great! We've never had 3 guards like they got, if you leave them open for a second, and do not adjust well on defense, they will knock down shots all night long. With that being said, the game plan did suck also!!

Waaay too early to get REAL excited, they say. But ya gotta believe that facing their own SEC quality pitchers all fall has already made these guys better hitters – right out of the chute. Now help Vinson out like ya did Morris and make him hit strictly from the right side. You need his defense but you won't play him with no offense this year cuz you have the bench . . . Help him out coach…

Don't know much about Villanova baseball, but I bet it ain't SEC baseball. (lol!) Honestly though, I'm excited about this years team. We may be VERY good this time. We'll see in time.

I don’t know whether the Hogs were slacking on defense, but it seemed as if we caught GA, TN and FL when they were sky high. They shot phenomenal FG% against us. The games seemed perhaps anomalous because everything seemed to fall right for our opponents. I don’t know about the KY game: maybe they were just that good.

I think Hogfans have a good attitude, not expecting too much and not getting down on the players and coaches when we lose. Most of us are optimistic about the future of Hawgball.

YES,,they did get smoked,,,but Those Hogs never quit,,,they did fight the entire game,,I see MUCH hope for the future here!! YES they are young,,and make foolish mistakes,,but I see a change in them,,,for the better.

WOW – 31 to 7 in a 3 game sweep. This team could be something to watch this year. We know the pitching is there. Offense is obviously there too. Way to start the season. Hog baseball is awesome. If you haven't been to a game yet, I highly recommend going up for a weekend series.

We must look at the entire season and not game by game. The fact is, we have a very young team that has lost quite a few players from Phel's last season. They have won a few games they should not have won, they have shown us games of what the future holds. After a long season of hard work and trying to reach big expectations, the team has shown its youth and the effects of a long season in the SEC. We should look forward and be happy with a BJ Young, Hunter Micheleson, the return of Marshawn Powell and the return of real razorback basketball. As fans we have expected instant gratification when we need patience and support for the return of real razorback basketball. Go HAWGS!!!!

Petrino lost to Ole Miss his first two years. I think our system we have in place in football has matured and is showing fruit now. Like in football, CMA is putting in his system. These players have done well. I am sure they are feeling a season in their bodies now.
We need a couple more pieces for the puzzle. We need some players to become experts of the system.

We can only hope that Mike's first class has the same level of success Bobby's first class had 3 years later. T-Towner, I can appreciate your support for Pelphry, but if you are a Razorback fan, you have to admit, we are in a much better situation now with Mike here.

No excuses, but its hard to play the way Mike wants to play with a limited number of bodies. And it finally looks like its catching up with this young team.

I will say I was impressed with Florida. That was the best I had seen them all year. They look like a team that could be a Final Four type team with the right draw.

ESPN is doing a documentary on the hogs games with Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, and a couple of other honorable mention teams. 40 Minutes Of Beat Down should premier sometime this spring. It will have interviews with dozens of players who enjoyed carreer high stats against AR. tempurpedic wants to pay to name the court after their mattress. Kind of a nice tribute for a team who has enjoyed laying down for a decade.

Seriously though, I'm giving all the blame to a friend of mine that stopped by and said "Hell, they're gonna get beat by 30…".
I laughed, rolled my eyes and said "Are you nutts?" "They haven't lost in BWA all season under CMA and they've beaten 3 top 25 teams in the process." "No way they lose by more than a handful of points." "They might even win."

Well, I think it's now safe to say my good friend must have had a CMA voodoo doll tucked away somewhere, pulled it out, just for the occasion and stuck needles into CMA's skull at the beginning of every timeout…horrible game yesterday.

I'm wondering what all the fuss is about so what you want to stay at home for Thanksgiving.That's Ok.You want the game to be in Little Rock. Why? That's always hurt us in recruiting,plus a number of other things.If you think that people not going to sell out (All) home games you are very mistaken all the diehard fans that don't have season tickets,not a student, that usually at work or whatever will have a chance to get your seat and they will take up the slack so don't worry we'll be fine.I'm usually back in Ark for Thanksgiving LSU GAME (HINT HINT) let me know I'll take those tickets and fill those seats for you wouldn't want them to be empty now would we.

I am not sure that taxes have much, if anything, to do with Arkansas athletics. When I was in school, half or half+, of the home games were in LR, there was no internet and very few games were on TV. Now, ALL the games are available to watch to ALL the people for peanuts.

Sorry, but I'm not completely in that boat. While I do believe this is the best business decision move for the football program, taking ALL home games away from WMS would be a serious mistake.

Allowing at least two games at WMS each year, allows the fans in that area and the more southern areas of the state to enjoy going to those games without breaking the bank.
To do this any other way is to say that if you can't afford that kind of money, you're screwed as a Razorback fan.
Is that really the kind of message you want our athletic dept. to send out to life long Razorback fans?…that only a selected group of fans can attend?

We're not as fortunate as LSU and Bama to have the numbers in the fanbase. That's just the way it is.
We have to use every resource we have within our population, because financially, we're a very poor state. Turn your back on those fans, then guess what, you create another problem.
Are you willing to do that, just to make sure the students get to see EVERY home game?

Question: Who pays the taxes to our statewide institution?

In fact, and I know I might step on some toes here, but all home games should be in Fayetteville. It is COLLEGE sports not statewide semi-pro. The students should be able to easily attend all games. The folks with the time, money, and inclination can drive up to Fayetteville from central AR, but let the students watch the home games AT home!
