I'm ready to fire HDN now… if he doesn't put Mustain in the game in the second half. It's obvious he has a grudge against Mustain at this point. Mitch didn't have two games as bad as LSU and Florida and now the first half of the Wisconsin game and he got pulled… why is Dick not getting pulled…….. Nutt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fire 'em all…. what a pitiful display of offense. But, that's what you get with a Nutt-run offense. If he'd just let go of the reigns we might could beat some quality teams and we might even have an inkling of a passing game. But, when you don't put an emphasis on passing the ball in practice and you don't practice passing in blowout wins against lesser teams this is what you get…. a PATHETIC passing game.
I'm glad this season is over. If only I could blank it out from my memory. Thanks Nutt for getting our expectations high at the beginning of the season and then blowing it at the end. Fitting …. Please Saban, turn Bama down… Mal Moore, COME ON DOWN!!!
Say all you want about Nutt having a grudge against Mustain, but Mustain's performance was pitiful. The so-called grudge is just an imaginary thing fans like to make up. The 'Chosen One' needs to get in the weight room, work on NOT staring down receivers, and get that 'oh my gosh, I'm in the SEC' look off his face. This isn't high school. Dick is still the better QB… at the moment. He just seems more mentally tough.
Dick didn't "stare" down the WR's??? hahahaha. They were both pitiful and as hogblogger says up above and what I was saying in my second post is that it's as much a product of the coaching and offense as it is the players themselves.
You watch any of our routes this year. We have one guy we're going to throw to no matter if he's double or triple-teamed… and we are going to throw it to them no matter what.
Hogsdill, you know just as I do… Casey is NOT the better QB. At this point, neither is above average QB.
Casey IS the better QB at this time. Mitch has all the potential and talent. But talent is nothing if you don't use it on the field. I want him to succeed just as much as anyone.
I just hope Houston gives Gus more control over the off season and our offense becomes more balanced. We must get better in the passing game. I don't care who starts at QB. I just want a better passing attack.
Every great program's sucsess, start's at the top. This would useually be the head coach, right? Who was it BC, DW,and MM's parents went to with concerns over the direction of the offense? Who was it that told the parents that Malzhan's offense would not be sucsessful in the SEC? ("according to experts", he said) Who was it, also, that tried to tell coaching legend, Lou Holtz, how, who,and where to recruit, before Lou told him to shove it!!?, 26 years ago! Everyone reap's what they sow. Isn't this also true about our Athietic Dictator? Isn't there more reason to the fact that he is over 80, and still in control? Why?, Because he love's our U of A so much? Horse ****!!!! Dictators alway's die dictator's, or they are dethroned. Frank Broyles will die of old age, while sitting on his thron, smiling down on his little pawns, gloating of his own personal sucsess. So go ahead and blame H.Nutt if you want. His hands are tied, just as much as any other coach, we have ever had at this university.
