I want to be the first to step up and eat some crow. I’ve been pretty hard on Stan and boys, but they showed me, and many others, an effort today that I wasn’t sure they had in them. They kept the foot on the accelerator and weathered the storm at the start of the second half. Ervin played like I thought he could, finally…took care of the ball, distributed, scored, rebounded. Great performance.
HogBaller, you were right, this team does have some fight in them!!! I think they can hold serve at home now. You want to put some fannies in the seats? That’s how you do it…tremendous effort and energy. Great win, and a great day to be a Razorback.
I'll eat some myself. But, I'm still not convinced this team will make the NCAA tourney. I think they can, but I want to see this kind of effort and energy against Ole Miss and Vandy and South Carolina… the teams we're supposed to beat.
But, this was a big time win and I'm glad it was over a top ten team.
check out the monster slam!!

We were fortunate to land in some mid-court seats to witness this impressive display of intensity. Apparently we're somewhat of a lucky charm because the offer has been extended to use these seats anytime for the rest of the year. So 10K we'll take you up on whether this bunch makes it to the NCAA's – if OUR luck holds out.
Something is happening in the locker room and the practice court that is starting to making this team deserving of a little swagger. I still say a "little". Those token wins over folks you're supposed to spank big-time have been painful to watch – but they were awake enough not to let one of THOSE slip away. ONE convincing win in the SEC doesn't give you huge bragging rights but this was more than a line drive in the paper folks –
they CRUSHED one like we haven't witnessed for a number of years.
Yeah, we're also anxious to see some hardball.
Hey metal man, good stuff with the vidioe. I down loaded and sent to my parents. GO HOGS!!
At least a 50% Shooting day from the outside I thought was critical, but I never expected such a blowout. It's amazing what happens when you protect the basketball, play good defense and shoot well.
