Sorry to hear the news about Danny Nutt. I’ve always felt he was a little underappreciated for the job he did with our running backs @ U of A. It’’s sad when bad health takes you away from doing the things you love. My prayers go out to the family, hoping that something postive can come from his situation.
Bluff, I couldn’t agree more. He will be missed greatly. D.Nutt fought this off once before in 1998, if anyone can do it again, it’s him.
I’m real sorry to see this happening to Danny and wish him and his family the best. It seems the players he’s coached have always loved to play hard for him and held him in high esteem.
Sad, sad day for Danny and all of the Nutt family. Bluff said it right, what is worst than losing a career that you love to health issues. When one door closes another opens and I know Danny will find meaningful service in his new area of endevear.
We have enjoyed the best running backs in the SEC during Danny’s years. He can be very proud of the work he has done. I hate for him to miss the Heisman season.
Hopefully he won’t miss the Heisman season. And hopefully he will make it through this trying period. I haven’t read all the details about the situation, does anyone know who his replacement will be?
Do you think it would be in our best interest to rush the process of finding another running back coach? Think about, we are a running team and the running backs coach is a very important part of our engine. With two a days coming upon us fast, I am a little concerned. However we do have running backs on the team that have been there before so who knows?
