Great game offensively, pass defense very suspect.Best coaching job I’ve seen in a very long time, except for the end of the first half.It looked like it was going to be another 4th quarter collapse until d-mac broke the gamecocks back with that 80 yard run.WHAT A PERFORMANCE by both D-MAC and FELIX!!!!!!!!GREAT,GREAT PERFORMANCE RAZORBACKS.What a way to go out in their last game at DWR RAZORBACK STADIUM.That performance will never be fogotten.Good luck in the pros Peyton,Darren and Felix. Those guys are why I’m proud to be a Hog Fan.

Wow…. On nights like this one, I don’t mind seeing our running back get the ball 99% of the time. McFadden may be the man, but I’d take Felix on my team any day! Congrats to the Seniors, and here’s to the last ‘4′ games with all of the special group of guys that have been fun to watch the past few seasons. Go Hogs Go!!!

I’m going to have to eat crow on this one. A few days ago, I said it was a no brainer D-Mac wasn’t going to win the Hiesman. I still have my doubts, but he was the best player in college football yesterday. 323 yds. rushing, 1 rushing TD, and 1 passing TD? Absolutely crazy!! Most of D-Mac’s rushing yds. came from behind center too, and the passing TD came from the tailback position. He is definately healthy. Felix may have been a close 2nd best football player yesterday with his performance. I still have some concerns with the defense. Like last year, the Gamecocks made a few adjustments at the half, and pretty much had thier way with the Hogs in the 2nd half of the game. They seemed to have driven the field effortlessly on almost every drive. We have 3 more games, with no patsies left on the plate, and If D-Mac and FJ continue to play like they did last night, it will be entertaining to say the least. GO HOGS GO!!!!!

Such great talent! Dale will never have a shot this good at a title again. What wonderful talent wasted. A national title team playing in the Liberty bowl. It should be a blowout.

[...] More on McFadden getting back in Heisman Contention, and the Expats were impressed. Razorbloggers Roundup. I haven’t even mentioned the rest of the offense. And Bowl Reps were in [...]

Good to see we can still find something to complain about.

    Off-tackle was working last night.

I thought DMac had sore ribs. If he is healthy and whoever was calling the offense (getting back to the WildCat w/ motion), keeps doing it, then these guys may have a chance to win next week in Knoxville.

That is what I call a game last night! McFadden was great and Felix was outstanding. It’s all about playing as a team!!!

Good to see McFadden trying to make people miss again instead of just “bowling them over”. He looked more like himself…more like he did last year. Making people miss has long term benefits over lowering your shoulder.

Carmaduke, it’s called 10 years of “less than desired” results!

reasonrules, you aren’t the first to mention the return to last year’s play calling in the last 24 hours. Let’s just hope we don’t copy the season ending results. ;-)

It is going to be pretty cool to see D-mac and Felix in real offenses next year in the NFL. Imagine how good they are going to be in a balanced offense. Especially if D-mac is with the Cowboys. We can go from Saturday fans to Sunday fans.

As for me, I am going to go ahead and go on line to order my Oregon and Florida merchandise. I might get some Alabama stuff too. Saban has done too well.

Imagine what Arkansas could do with a real coach. Parity has come to college football. This 50’s nonsense is passe’.

It was like a return to last years play calling. I am not ashamed that David Lee copied Gus’s playbook to get this win in the bag.

Wildcat the rest of the year as far as I am concerned.

We are going to have to outscore our competition.

Enjoy it! Also, quite a good defensive show. Mitchell is good if you do not keep him off balance. Hogs kept him in check most of the time. Yes, Hogs bungled some things, such as that rediculous spike by Johnson. You expect more out of a senior. But with young, emotional young men, things like that will sometimes happen. Let them enjoy the game. Quite an offensive show of running, running, and running and more running. No one could have predicted this offensive firepower against a good Carolina team. But as the coaches know, at any moment our backs can take it to the house.

Just talked with Texas Tech fans today in west Texas. They are complaining about their team passing. And with good reason. Great runner left TT after they switched to the spread and made his mark at Alabama after transferring and he hurt the Hogs in Fayetteville. Great runners want to play for a coach who believes in the run. Yes, modern day coaches still believe in the run.

And the Judge said: “I rest my case. I have witnessed that some bloggers still complain even when their team is great. It is time to support the team.”

As far as the suggestion that a certain coach set this whole Hog offense up belongs in the myth category on Snoopes.com. There is “nothing new under the sun”, be it a political thought, a so called new play or formation, or a new way to farm. Do extensive research, and you will discover that someone has thought that up long ago. It is just like the weather, cycles come and cycles go, and then return again..

Great, and even good, coaches use the talent on hand. Rest assured if you have a different mix of players in he future they will blend them into whatever gives them the best chance to win. GO HOGS! GO! BEAT TENNESSEE and that Ole Hound dog in the Smokies. Now, I am not picking on the Hound because I love pet dogs!

Guys this was a great game and I was definintly not disappointed my first game in Fayetteville but if I had to find something to complain about I guess it would be the dead section I was sitting in right behind the goal post and the horrible coverage by the DB’s they were beat all night but we got lucky there QB had a bad night passing.

  17. TipsterHog on November 5th, 2007 9:43 am

Dieing…I thought about after the game that it was your first Fayetteville experience. Great timing on your part.

Great win ! , I guess DMAC and Felix find that seem this week. Looking at the schedule I didn’t think this was the game they could win but this year the Nutt man might just win these last three games.
