The Hogs played to win last night, and it was just as obvious last night as it was against Baylor a couple of weeks back. Now only if they can keep it up on a regular basis. Consistantsy is the final and missing ingredient to this team. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
It was an important win, no doubt, for the Hogs. But LSU has now lost eight games in a row. Had Arkansas lost, that would have been season suicide. How much progress they made in their week off after the Georgia game will be determined this week. If the Hogs go 2-0 this week, then I’ll be excited.
I watched Florida spank Vandi yesterday and all I can say is I’m impressed! Billy Donavon has recruited another impressive class of Freshmen to go along with a couple of guys returning from back-up roles of the past couple of years. They’ll be dangerous the rest of the year, and will probably be back in the top 10 next season. I hope Coach Pelphrey has this kind of sucsess with his recruiting classes. Donavon definately has it together.
