An ugly finish (especially at home) but we pulled out a victory and might (we can hope) learned something from this game!

I continue to be impressed with Darian Towns. He continues to show he’s one of the better big men in the SEC. Weems is becoming the leader we all thought he would be, and Irvin, hopefully, will continue to play the type of defense he played against Bama. I thought Beverly also hit some key shots and always play’s to win. Stefan Welsh is steady and doesn’t make many mistakes, and Thomas is always tough on the boards. As long as these guys keep making improvements with turnovers and freethrow shooting, they’ll be a pretty tough team to stop this year in the SEC. GO HOGS GO!!!!!

Bottom line: Would we be 2-0 in the SEC with last year’s coaching staff?

    Answer: No.

I like the way Coach has the team playing. They do play much harder and with more energy.
    From the what if section:
If we only had a point gaurd.
If we only had Phelphry last year
If only Steven Hill could shoot
I do believe Hog Ball is on its way back. Isn’t this fun?

Ervin is like drops of water into a skillet of grease——stuff is flying everywhere and it ain’t necessarily fun.

Welsh will become a good point guard. Britt may too. Clarke out here in the wasteland is a shooting maniac.

This year will be up and down, but the Hogs are back!
