If the Hogs can repeat this effort against the Gators on Saturday, win or lose, I’ll be very impressed! This was as big a win this group has produced in the 4 years they’ve been here. Probably the biggest. Donavon has his Freshmen playing at a high level right now, but if the Hogs play with the same kind of effort against those guys like they did tonight, I like our chances. GO HOGS and GOOD LUCK!!!!!
When they look good they look very, very good. They are fun to watch. We’ve all love to watch them at their best the last four years. Everyone knows how good they can be. Beating Florida will be huge.
The effort was definately there last night. Thank goodness for Sonny Weems. I thought it was amazingly quiet (from a TV watching stand point) in Bud Walton, up until Hunter hit his 3. I haven’t been to a game since ‘94, but I don’t think I’d be too intimidated to play us at our house. Is it just me? Last year, this site ran an interesting piece on the ‘atmosphere’ of BW. Were any of the suggestions put into play? Just curious. Go Hogs Go!!! Beat those Gators!
Dare we hope that these last two 20-point victories are the start of a new trend?
Say Ward_Hog – if you were trying to get the effect of the BW crowd – TV did NOT do you justice. Go there and be fan 19,000. There was plenty of noise in the “palace”. That was a fun and actually “loud” crowd. We were good for 10 of those 20 points in that whipping. However, 36% field goal shooting normally does not win ball games. 25-30 free throws don’t come every game either. Even at that with the 10 player intensity being displayed right now, ya gotta like your chances of taking Florida.
