This is just wild wishing, but Greg Williams just got fired from the Redskins. Don't know if Petrino has enough of the "IT" to bring Williams to the college ranks, but his D schemes always scared me as a Cowboys fan.

Has anyone heard what Coach Orjeron is doing now? I never really heard whether or not he actually signed with anybody or not since he was let go from Ole Miss. He was one hell of a D-coordinater for Pete Carroll at USC, before he got the head coaching job there. He's also got the reputation of being the best recruiter Pete Carroll has ever seen. If this guy hasn't signed with anyone else, he would make a good one, and still be able to coach in the SEC. I would love to be able to see him shut down Nutt's offense when Ole Miss come's to Fayetteville next season.

Well, Strong leaving Florida is highly unlikely especially since they are stockpiling so much talent. Petrino needs to head down to the Senior Bowl and start asking about some young talent perhaps the next Bill Muschamp or something. There are some talented people out there who just want the chance.

Sorry to hear that your son has come down with such a painful condition(being a razorback fan) at such a young age. My 4 yr. old can spot a razorback logo from 100 yards.

Sounds like the ol' 'Coaches Shuffle': Petrino leaves Atlanta which leaves his old coaching staff on the block. Van Gorder (linebacker coach for the Falcons) sees an opportunity to head up an SEC defense again and heads to South Carolina. Atlanta finally settles on a new HC who just happens to be good buddies with Van Gorder. NOW Van Gorder has an opportunity to be the Defensive Coordinator of the hapless Falcons; so he jumps back. Spurrior suddenly needs a DC so he woos Johnson (who, after all this "Me and the wife really love NW Arkansas and can't see ourselves anyplace else." BS, decides he really misses his family in South Carolina. There, clear as mud? I'd like to know how Spurrior lured Johnson away; might simply be a mere matter of money. Get ready for a bunch of Atlanta/ESPN Pukes to yuk it up over 'just desserts'…

I'd like to see us grab Strong also but, with Florida poised to make a run at the NT again, that could prove to be too difficult. Anyone have any other possibilities? We sure do need to nail down a good or better than good replacement pronto.

That is real bunk! I would really go after Charlie Strong, Arkansas native, after Zook left he was retained by Meyer but as co-defensive coordinator. It will help us in recruiting big time. He should really be a head coach now, but who knows which way Petrino go.
