This look’s like an interesting crew. With all the uncertainties that come with a rebuilding year, it looks like we’ll have plenty of exsperience in the coaching staff to start off a new era. Our defense need’s a face-lift in the worst way. We won’t have much playing exsperience next year, so it’s important that we have the right coaching staff in place to implement new stratagies and work to bring in the best players for that system. I believe our D-line has potential to be good. The 2007 season was a rebuilding year for that group, so I think the improvement will be there with the right system in place. Larenzo Ward has some impressive credentials, coming from the 7 years he spent at VT. He has his work cut out for him with all the players were losing in the secondary. Overall, I think were in pretty good shape to begin ‘08. The most important thing right now is recruiting. Hopefully, we be sucsessful on signing day. That will be the last key ingredient before Spring practice.
According to KOTV, it appears that Jones will announce on Monday his decision on going pro or returning for his final year.
