Talking negative about these kids hasn't been easy for me at all. I've tried to hang on to hope as long as I could, but unfortunately, I just don't trust them anymore. It's hard to keep putting passion into rooting for these kids, knowing eventually, thier going to let you down. It's been tough to be a Hog fan for quite some time now, but here go's one more time. GO HOGS GO!!!!! BEAT OLE MISS!!!!!

I never could understand why Thomas, with the physical abilities he has, couldn't become consistant for a whole year. This is the 2nd year in a row he's taken off strong, only to lose steam in mid season, playing anywhere from mediocra to absolutely lousy. He has been in and out of the doghouse with Stan and John both. I just don't get it. Must be a personal problem. Talk about over-rated. Thomas, Hill, Townes, and Cyrus McGowan (remember him?) were all 4 star recruits according to Scout.com. With the exception of Townes, those ratings turned out to be a total flop. That's probably why people keep talking about the pros. They keep thinking these guys are finally going to pan out. (Me included, until I watched the Kentucky game.)

Like everyone else I have been trying to get a handle on this bunch of underacheivers. I thought that it might be me. As simple as, I watch the game, they lose; I don't watch, they win. Wouldn't we all love to know what the deal with these guys is? Sorry to inform negatively, but I watched the entire Vandy game and these guys pulled it out against a really good effort from the black and gold bunch. It is something other than my participation—they are just impossible to figure out. Maybe next year's team will make more sense?

John is doing the right thing. He is giving these seniors a chance to turn things around. They have not performed well on the road, but the margin of loss is small especially considering the shooting slump Beverly has been in.

He will go with his style next year and will only play the best. But this year he is playing what he is left with.

Hill has never developed offensively. I also think the ref's call him for tic tac stuff that he doesn't get in return. In Darrian's case, up until the last few games when he finally started going aggresively to the basket he was a terrible waste of height. Vincent, a guard in a forward's body. I still don't get why every body gives these guys a chance in the pros. Charles would be better served if he never dribble again.

We have an off and on point guard and two shooters Weems and Beverly.

Given their shortcomings and if they could have pulled out a couple of close ones on the road then we would be happy.

Never had so much fun yelling and shouting at the refs. Only thing that would have maded the day better was if we had one and Pelphrey would have gotten a technical for using Will Ferrel's line that got him kicked out of the game.

That game and the crowd was more like I remember Barnhill when I was in college and we were playing Phi Slamma Jamma. Oh it used to irritate me that Eddie wouldn't let his players dunk in warmups when our oun fans were ooing and gooing over the visiting team.

One more point. Olgilvy is a Fresh., and Hill is a Sr. I'll take Ogilvy on my team any day of the week over Hill. Hill, along with the assistance of Thomas and Hunter are killing this team's chances of going anywhere.

I didn't mean to rain on your parade reason, but the exact point I'm trying to make is the fact that these guys will find a way to lose on the road. If they were under-classmen, I'd be more inclined to cut them some slack, but how many years in a row now have we seen them chock on the road, not just to the good teams, but the mediocra ones as well. When Irvin plays well, we usually win, but even that's not enough when you have Seniors like Hill, Thomas, and Hunter stinking it up on the road with stupid fouls and turnovers, because of either being out of position or just being caught standing flat-footed, because they decided to take a play off and breath with the game on the line, with less than 2 minutes to play. That is not called Sr. leadership, and at this stage in thier careers, they shouldn't have to even be reminded of it. They've done this for 4 years now, so I have no reason to believe they'll magically stop doing it in Oxford come Wed. night.

I'm with "reason". I'll praise 'em too cuz there's nothing like being there to see all the little things (including the black haired ref, the balding one and the other visually impaired one) that you may not see on TV. The "home boys" overcame that adversity because of the people in the seats. The thing that wells up inside of you though is the inconsistency of playing as a "Team" unless they are at home in Bud Walton. It's a fitting tribute to the fans in that arena and a crying shame that they CANNOT rise up and bottle that up and take it on the road. By the way Vandy was ON THE ROAD… in ALL 5 of their SEC losses… think about it.

Shout out to Waldron Hog – I should have taken that bet.

2nd in the West, a couple of games from an 8 seed, a win in the tournament?

That is progress over Stan. Way, way, way short of where this program should be.

Eddie had his first final four team put together in his second year. Nolan went to the final four in his fourth year. Arkansas basketball should own the West. The only way Arkansas finishes second in the west is to a great team put together at one of the other schools and that in a one game swing late in the season. Arkansas should field a team that is a concern to 1 and 2 seeds. That is Arkansas basketball.

Frank stayed way too long. White was a joke. That has been corrected in the Football program. The basketball program may need the same upgrade. I like John. I hope he can do it. But, he doesn't get 5 years. Not with a senior class like this and seven scholarships to give. It is time for this to be Arkansas basketball again.

No praise here. Get ready for another uninspiring loss in Oxford, against the Rebels, and then a hard fought game in BWA, against the Tigers, to finish up another sub-par regular season at 20-10. It's anyone's guess if we'll actually make tournament or not, but all I'm really hoping fore now is to get in and win at least 1 game. Realistically, I'm not even sure we can do that.
