It was fun for 7 innings. The 8th inning was OK. After that, it was very ugly. When you commit 4 errors, you don’t really deserve to win.
We do some stupid things. Many times during this season we have had bad base running. Yesterday was no exception. Our fielding and throwing seems to be down as well. That was costly yesterday. We gave the win away in the top of the 9th with 2 errors. We sure don’t have an outfielder playing who can throw like Auburn’s right fielder.
I know we have a lot of injuries. We also have some it appears the coaches have given up on. Maybe this is a case of what might have been?
It all adds up to an ugly season. I’d like to think they will turn it around. I wouldn’t bet on it at this time.
