A true legend in the annals of coaching. I’ll miss hearing that John and one of his teams racked up yet another championship. Too bad many people don’t pay any attention to Track and Field. Goodbye John, Thanks Much and Good Luck!

I think we all probably took John McDonnall for granted a litle bit. We didn’t just want championships in track, we came to exspect them because they were so frequent and normal. I doubt there will ever be another like him. Even though it’s a differnt sport, he belongs right up there with basketball’s John Wooden. Good luck in what ever you do with the rest of your life Coach. Your the best!!

I’ll miss you Coach Mac (no matter how much Tipster and HogBaller tease me about it)!!!! You taught us all to be winners on the track as well as in life. The blood in your veins is RAZORBACK RED.

I hope you and Ellen enjoy the cattle ranch, the Razorback Nation will miss you!!!
