After their impressive drubbing of Virginia, USC makes a move into the top 5. With Mark Sanchez back at quarterback and a stable of quality running backs, the Trojans are out of the gate fast. Alabama and East Carolina jump in with their quality wins this past weekend.

Gotta move the Jayhawks up here…..defending Orange Bowl Champions, return Todd Reesing at quarterback add Junior College offensive player of the year Jacque Crawford to the backfield and most starters from one of the best defenses in the nation last year. Why no love for the Crimson and Blue? No reason to have them out of the top 15. A tougher schedule this year could drop them in the rankings with a few loses, but until they lose, they deserve some respect!
I would have to agree with Jayhawg just a little. Kansas and South Florida both came out of nowhere last year to have outstanding seasins, but South Florida #12, and Kansas #21? What gives?
Kansas at South Florida – September 12. That will be a true test for the Jayhawks. I like Mangino and Reesing a lot, and will move the KU up accordingly if they show me next week.
Sunshine
I’ll have to remember to mark that game down Tipster. I didn’t even know they played eack other this year. That should be a good one.
Your doing good Sunshine. Arkansas isn’t listed but neither is Ole Miss. You get another week’s pass.
