CBSSports.com BlogPoll Ballot — Week 11

November 11, 2008 by Walking on Sunshine

We must be the last one on the Texas Tech bandwagon.  The Red Raiders move up accordingly after their 56-20 thumping of Okie State.  Pirates rule!!!  Got a chance to see Ball State play for the first time last week and they have a nice little team.  So we’re finally giving them some props, too.

Maybe a little premature on Texas Tech… especially if Florida is the “hottest” team. I’d been ok if this was after the Oklahoma game.

Personally, I think the OU game could turn out to be an ambush for T. Tech.
In big games, Stoops teams always seem to peak on defense. (example: last years Big 12 championship game against Missouri)
Missouri runs pretty much the same kind of offense the Red Raiders do, so I don’t think the OU defense will be intimidated by the Tech offense.
Will Techs defense be able to stop the OU offense? nope. Will the Tech offense be able to match TDs with the OU offense? we’ll see.
OU’s defense will definately be ready, the crowd will be crazy, and Tech will have to prove that they have the composure to stay with the big boys on the road.
