Wow 28 minutes for Clark and 0 points. I know he isn't playing 28 minutes for his defense. Didn't take the SEC West to figure out we had one offense to run and how to defend it.
Pitiful. Just pitiful.
Anybody interesting in trading these last 2 loses for the previous 2 wins?
Remember how young these guys are – the SEC road is a lonely place, especially for a bunch of kids right out of high school. There's a big difference from having 10-19,000 cheering for you than against you.
I predict that the kids will get their legs back under them with a few home wins and pull a couple out on the road before the season is over. If we think this year has been exciting (and it has), just wait until next year!
OwassoHog, I'd gladly go along with your trade if one of those wins wasn't over texa$$.
I think Rotnie is in a little bit of a confidence slump right now. I noticed he started passing on shots after he missed his first couple.
Earlier in the year, he seemed to be more comfortable with the quik trigger.
In the past, we,ve had other players go into shooting slumps that eventually came around, so I don't think it's going to be long term.
I think he'll be fine.
Stephan Welsh seems to have lost his touch a little bit too, so Clarke isn't the only Hog trying to re-find his shot.
Fortson definately needs to start looking to kick the ball back out to Clarke and Welsh when driving into the lane, while opposing defenses are collapsing back on Washington. He has to understand that opposing SEC teams are onto him now after the OU and Texas games.
What was working then, isn't going to work the same now.
