Yahoo… what a game. Unfortunately, we probably utilized way too much pitching. Who can give a good analysis of our pitching state after tonights game?

  2. TipsterHog says:

Obviously not good, Owasso. Lightly used JC transfer Christian Kowalchuck is a left hander that comes to mind. With LSU having problems this year against lefties, he could get the start. RHP Sam Murphy or LHP Kendall Wehre are also possibilities to start.

Van Horn said afterwards that the only pitcher off the table for Friday would be Smyly. That would mean Keuchel, Bolsinger and Richards might be available to throw an inning or two. Forrest, Eibner or Cox could start, I guess, or come in to relieve.

It’s pretty much all hands on deck except for Smyly.

Best baseball game I have ever watched on TV.

You may see several pitchers starting with TJ Forest. Just hope LSU is a bit rusty after only playing two games in two weeks.

Hitters are going to have to rough up LSU pitching and get ahead and put pressure to have a chance. Much like what happened against Cal Sate.

  4. Unbelievable game!!! Every player Van Horn put in, when we shuffled things late, contributed. Carver started the double play on a hard hit shot. Darr gets the clutch double to win it.

You would think Forest would get the start Friday given he pitched only 4 innings on Monday. But with the way LSU kills RHP, that may not be the way to go.

Keuchel just would not be denied!!!!

What an unexpected surprise to have this much to cheer about as a Razorback fan in mid-June. It helps make time go quicker until football starts. Kuechel was amazing. That was the best Razorback baseball game I’ve ever seen. Let’s go kick LSU’s ass! WPS!

Best baseball game I have ever seen! Now, you need to know that I have not seen all that many, but this was a dandy.

I have a renewed sense of pride as a Razorback fan. These kids are great!
I’ve listened to this team play on the radio all year long, and became pretty dogone familiar with most of them.
Getting to watch them now in the CWS, with the rest of the elite teams in the country, is a rare treat indeed
There is absolutely NO quite in this team. NONE…NOTTA!!!

    GO HOGS GO, BABY!!!!!
