A few notes:
- No disrespect meant to Michael Smith…I think we all believe he will have a great season. He should just (hopefully) have a little more help this year.
- I don’t know…the new “Jerry World” is awfully big.
- We obviously think D.J. Williams is going to have a huge year. But how in the world is he NOT on the coaches’ preseason All-SEC first team?

While a 8-4 record normally gets you something better than Shreveport, that was not the case for the 2003 Razorbacks. Entering the game at 8-4, HDN's under-achieving bunch of future NFL players dropped Missouri 27-14.
That said, I hope Tipster is wrong too.
Well in my opinion the independance bowl was a better game in 03 where now its for very mediocre 6-6 SEC teams like Bama a few years ago or WAC teams. Thats just my opinion and I love reading and hearing yours Tipster and Sunshine
I am not as optimistic as you guys are. I think we will finish at 6-6 and probably go to the Independence Bowl. I think that we will lose to Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Should be better than Indepencence Bowl probably not if the 2009 defense does not improve immensely.
