Washington‘s big win over USC, combined with the Florida St. thumping of BYU, shook up the top ten this week.  Miami (Fla.) vaults after a nice win over Georgia Tech.  Our beloved Hogs drop out until the “D” can prove its worth.

  1. Defense Wins Champio says:

Alabama…All depends upon this new QB.

Florida–I prefer Fla. to win but..

Texas–I am not sure they can do it but may be in Championship.

Miami of Florida…I sure would not count them out. QB looks great. Likely will win Heisman.

Ole Miss (will know more tomorrow night) Tight end & big gun on D-line may be out!

LSU–Will be very strong before season is over.

Oklahoma State–May be great this year.

Boise State–Will be in BCS bowl.

    California

    TCU

    South Carolina

    Penn State

    Kansas

    Ohio State

    UNC

    Cincinnati

USC of LA (Mustain is the backup punter…too unpredictable as QB. Perhaps should have transferred to UCA, but no guarantee there either. Of course if injuries occur, he could be back in the saddle again. It is a long season. Carroll may be building for the future.)

    Va Tech

    Georgia

    Fla. State

    Michigan

    Ky.
