We already know how good M. Washington is, but what was most interesting to me in this game was with the absents of M. Powell, Glenn Bryant came on and played pretty well.
If the 19 points from Powell in the Red-White exibition game was any indication of what he brings to the table, I think it’s safe to say he’s going to be a very good impact player for the Hogs this season, but the development of Bryant in his 1st year is important as well to have solid depth in the front court this season.
It was good to see him have a solid game.
John is in a tough situation. Lord knows I have not been his biggest supporter in the past. But, I just heard his comments on the radio and, he sounds like a guy who has already given up before the season has started. Maybe he is just waiting for something good to happen before he shows any excitement. But, if that is his strategy it doesn’t sound like a good one.
Maybe he has just seen them practice.
