Mike is certainly a good shooter for his size, no doubt. However, the team does not need him taking those shots unless maybe we are up by 30. Instead, we need him in there with Powell crashing boards, tipping in shots, and slamming home dunks. That would help Rotnei tremendously. We need teams to fear the inside game as much as they do the 3 pointer.

Gonzohog, could not agree with you more. Washington showed his leadership and talent last year against Texas and Oklahoma but has been disappointing since. Would like to see the fire in him that we see in Ryan Mallet. This would bring an NBA caliber player to the court. I believe he is more interested in himself than he is in the Razorbacks. Would like to see Phelphrey play more inside and out and lean on the big guy. Would also like to see more pick and rolls to open up Clarke. They were clearly not running a fine tuned offense against Louisville. Want to see more passion from the entire team. Maybe they should watch Mallet closer today and take notes on what real fire and passion to win is really like.

People have blasted me for saying this before, but Washington has no business toeing the 3 point line.
If you look at what coach Pelphrey said in the Sports360 article, "he needs to get back to attacking the rim", and the fact that he didn't even have one offensive rebound on the glass, pretty much says it all.
He was non-existant in that catagory at Louisville as well.
He's wasting his time thinking about pro ball, if that's the best inside game he's got.
