Whats up with Rotnei sitting on the bench in street clothes?
Injured knee.
They’re saying Clarke has tendinitis in a knee. This is a serious injury, very slow to heal.
A player, a team, can overwork, overachieve for only so long before it catches up with them. Clarke probably thought he could play through the pain, thinking it was only a muscle strain at first, something that would heal in a few days. It probably comes from playing too many minutes and practicing too many hours. These player suspensions have their negative effects on active players, too, running deep into the team.
Hoping Rotnei has a speedy recovery. I’m sure he’ll get the best therapy available.
