Your recent Rome Burnin' post ended with the usual grand defense of Pelphry by attacking the fans. Not that anymore evidence is needed that Pel is asleep at the switch going all the way back to Beverly; but wasn't that the rumor on Altman, that they wouldn't let him correct the academic problems? Petrino has come miles in three years upgrading the depth and talent on this team. And, he is building a team committed to winning at the highest level. He will get there. Caleb Evans will have a chance to be in the 2-deep at DE, even after Tank Wright gets back. Calender looks good. Has put on 25+ pounds since last season and is up to 241. 241 on his 6-7 frame still looks slim. He may see some spot action this season, with a breakout season set for 2011. He's a player though.
