Couldn't help but notice the latest twitter on Welsh and Washington graduation status. Your recent Rome Burnin' post ended with the usual grand defense of Pelphry by attacking the fans. Not that anymore evidence is needed that Pel is asleep at the switch going all the way back to Beverly; but wasn't that the rumor on Altman, that they wouldn't let him correct the academic problems? What the deal there? Seems like there is more to tell there.

Did anyone else notice Knile Davis ran better than any of the other backs before he broke his collarbone?

And for anyone who watched the game, Did T. Williams or J. Love do better at MLB. I heard they both had really good games.

I like your second point. Petrino has come miles in three years upgrading the depth and talent on this team. And, he is building a team committed to winning at the highest level. He will get there.

Year Five should be a thrill. Year three still has a few holes. It will be interesting to see him plug them. He might.

Just my opinion, but I think Terrell Williams is a starter. Caleb Evans will have a chance to be in the 2-deep at DE, even after Tank Wright gets back.

Calender looks good. Has put on 25+ pounds since last season and is up to 241. 241 on his 6-7 frame still looks slim. He may see some spot action this season, with a breakout season set for 2011. He's a player though.

For anyone who was there, a couple of questions about some guys:
- Terrell Williams - can he start or play a lot at middle 'backer? If not, are we okay with Jermaine Love for this season?

- Ryan Calendar and Caleb Evans - can they really help out at DE?
Thanks.
