Congratulations to reader Hog Fan In TN for the closest prediction last week of 38-28. His quote: “Hogs keep that BCS train rolling.”
Yep…it’s still rolling. Nice job, Hog Fan In TN. Happy Thanksgiving to you and to all of our readers. How about we all celebrate by eating a turkey leg and kicking some LSU ass in The Rock on Saturday, shall we? Here we go:
Walking on Sunshine: One of my favorite Les quotes: “Comfortable is a word that I don’t recognize as something I’m in.” I’m pretty sure the Little Rock crowd is not going to make it comfortable for Les and the Tigers Saturday. No ‘miracle’ finish this time. Arkansas 40, LSU 24.
HogBaller: With a BCS bid and a possible Sugar Bowl trip on the line, the atmosphere will be incredible in War Memorial. Can the Hogs contain Jordan Jefferson? Can Mallett and company score against the LSU defense? Can Bobby Petrino outcoach Les Miles? The answer to all of those is an emphatic YES! The Hogs finish the season with a win and take home ‘The Boot’ and a BCS bowl spot. Arkansas 41, LSU 24.
HogBlogger: The Hogs have a chance to end the year as the second best team in the SEC. This is serious business time. Arkansas 31, LSU 28.
TipsterHog: The combined score in this matchup for the last three years: 111-111 with 4 overtimes. But this one isn’t even close. Ryan Mallett’s final home game is a memorable big win. Arkansas 35, LSU 21.
Leave a comment with your name, e-mail address and pick. And feel free to add your own take like “Les Miles eats the artificial turf rubber pellets and passes out” or “The boot is given. Hogs roll.”

Arkansas 31 – LSU 27
The LSUs will be a tough fighting foe to beat. Do not worry.
Arkansas 28
LSUs 27
"I promise you when it comes to the challenge of keeping that trophy, that's something that we want to have happen … I can also tell you ‘The Boot' reminds me of the shape of our state. I can tell you that a boot is also a piece of clothing worn on the foot. The key is to not be given the boot."
-Les Miles
Hogs give Les the boot!
Pigs – 38
Tony's cousin, Mike – 34
Tough game. Petrino vs Miles – my money is always on Petrino.
This is going to be a great game.
Hogs 35
LSU 17
At least miles will have the class to tell his players goodby
I agree with Hogballer. Auburn will run all over Alabama and win, so Arkansas will have alot to play for. This will be Mallett's last game in Arkansas and he wants to make it memorable. LSU has weaknesses and will get exposed. Arkansas 41-24.
two in a row??.. probably not
27-20 Arkansas to the sugar bowl!
Hogs 31
The Other Guys 17
Our defense won't be caught looking ahead this time… nobody knows who to look forward to.
The Mad Hatter discovers that the grass at War Memorial Stadium is not for chewing———too late!!!

My Prediction- Arkansas takes advantage of the Sunny 63 weather- Hogs 43 LSU 21
Mt son Collin is- Hogs 40 LSU 0- Yes he thinks they will not score-
Go Hogs Go!!!
Knile has another huge day, minus the fumbles. The defense bends a lot but doesn't break.
Arkansas 34, LSU 30
Hogs do their part!
Hogs – 38
LSWho – 24
Go Hogs!
Hogs win 44 to 28 with a good solid defense… the boot stays in Arkansas (as it should)!
Hogs root Tiggers, big time. Not even close.
Boars: 42
Bungles: 24
Shocker goes 3-3 on field goals.
Ark. 30

That's Hocker of course. Darn phone thinks it's smarter than me.
First, let me say….hoglar69 is a genius!!
Man, the RazorBloggers are all very optimistic…makes me a little leery, also a little tentative regarding my prediction. The back and forth nature of the series the last decade makes me think since the Tigers got the 'W' last year it's the Hogs turn. I just think there's no reason to say that it won't be another nail-biter. Mallett goes out on a huge note and the Hogs D actually has a say at the end. I say:
Hogs 34
Tigs 30
The "Hat" goes home "Boot-less".
Les and his boys have been living on borrowed time too long. Hogs take advantage.
Hogs 38
LSU 24
Hogs 56 – LSU 13
I think we double up on them. 21-42 HOGS.
Heading to the Rock to see the cud chewing and Boot retrieval in person. Planning on having the Hogs making it a good trip!
Hogs 35
Tigers 28
Hogs Start fast and puts the Tigers on their heels and they never recover.
Hogs 47
Tigers 34
Hogs close out the regular season this time in style. Tigers go down bigtime with a 35 – 14 loss in the rock.
GO HOGS GO, BABY!!!!!
LSU: 17
UA: 24
It's close. Our newly found running game wins the day. All Hog fans say, "War Damn Eagle!" Sugar Bowl and BCS here we come!
Hogs struggle in the run game, but has just enough success to keep the tigers honest. As a result, Mallett arm takes them to victory.
Hogs 28
Tigers 24
Hogs pull out a tough game in the fourth quarter not a Miracle on Markham but a good close game until 6 minutes to go in the game.

Another one for the books!
The hat doesn't care for the taste of the WMS field turf. His team likes the taste of defeat even less. Looks for time management (or lack thereof) by LSU to play a part in the final score.
Hogs – 28
LSU – 20
LSU-27
HOGS-33
The Hog D came to play, but we still give up one Special Teams TD to a very good Peterson and possibly a pick 6. However, it won't be enough to stop the Knile and Ryan show. Hocker hits at least two FGs.
Reverse psychology has worked twice in a row, so Ill try it again.
Tigers 37
Hogs 30
Hogs D makes another mediocre QB look like a heisman winner.
I believe this one will be a close on, and as usual there are no blowouts during this game….
Hogs 38
LSU 35
in overtime
An SEC Classic!, but we cover the spread.
Hogs 34
Tigers 30
Too many last minute wins for Les this year. Little Rock will be rocking and our boys will respond. Big one for the hogs, it'll be close – gotta get the defense warmed up early today instead of after half. If that happens, all will be sweet. Hogs with a really big win. 42-35 victory
Arkansas 30
LSU 24
Let's go Hogs and win your last regular season game in 2010!!!!
