Game Predictions — Mississippi State
November 20, 2008 by TipsterHog · 23 Comments
Congratulations to Arch_Hog for the closest prediction last time of 30-24. His quote: “Old School vs. New School.” Yep…I’d certainly agree with you that the Gamecocks ’schooled’ us, Arch.
Speaking of school…you may have noticed that some of the RazorBloggers have been taking a little be of a ‘fall break.’ Unfortunately, as the saying goes, ‘real life’ has been intervening. Thanks to Sunshine and HogBlogger for carrying the site lately. We’ll all hopefully be back to our usual volume of posts here at RBN very soon.
So here we go:
Walking on Sunshine: Despite having won the last nine meetings with MSU, historically the Razorbacks have not played well in Starkville. But the Hogs still make it 10 in a row and keep bowl hopes alive for at least one more week. Arkansas 23, Mississippi State 17.
HogBaller: The Razorbacks need both Dicks in order to beat the Bulldogs and move one step closer to bowl eligibility. Casey starts…but Nathan comes in to give the offense a boost. The Hogs win a close one in Starkville. Arkansas 28, Mississippi State 24.
HogBlogger: Mississippi State’s year is already over. That, plus giving Bobby Petrino two weeks to prepare for their defense, will be hard to overcome. The Hogs get back on the road to improvement. Arkansas 31, Mississippi State 17.
TipsterHog: The Dogs lick their wounds from the ‘Bama game and lay in wait for the Rebs next week. Arkansas 24, Mississippi State 13.
Leave a comment with your name, e-mail address and pick. And feel free to add your own take like “What…not televised? Seriously?” or “Don’t stop believin’ now. Hogs roll.”

It’s that time again! The Hoop Hogs tip-off the 2008-09 season against Southeastern Louisiana on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry…you’ll have plenty of chances to catch them again. The Hogs open the schedule with 12 of their first 14 games at home.
In a year that even Coach John Pelphrey calls a rebuilding season, the Hogs were picked to finish dead last in the Western Division at last month’s SEC Media Days.
As for us here at RBN, just like we did back in July before football season, here are our predictions for both the Razorbacks and the rest of the SEC.
