We have resisted moving Florida to the top spot since they have one loss…but no more.  After completely embarrassing a top-ranked defense in South Carolina (56-6), there is little doubt (at least, in our mind) who has the best overall team.  The Alabama sputtering offense sees them losing ground.

CBSSports.com BlogPoll Ballot — Week 11

We must be the last one on the Texas Tech bandwagon.  The Red Raiders move up accordingly after their 56-20 thumping of Okie State.  Pirates rule!!!  Got a chance to see Ball State play for the first time last week and they have a nice little team.  So we’re finally giving them some props, too.

Thanks to the rousing win by Texas Tech over Texas, Alabama takes the top spot this week.  The Tide visit LSU on Saturday.  The convincing win by Florida over Georgia jumps them up accordingly.

CBSSports.com BlogPoll Ballot — Week 9

Wild week last week as eight of the top 25 went down in flames.  After a lackluster performance, USC drops as others in the top 7 shine.  Florida and Georgia get the cocktail mix out this week in Jacksonville.  Upset alert…Texas has to travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech this week.

CBSSports.com BlogPoll Ballot — Week 8

Texas leapfrogs Alabama after their 56-31 rout of Missouri.  Alabama’s second half woes continue as the Tide have been outscored 61-13 after the half in their last three games.  Five new teams enter this week as nine teams out of the Top 25 lost last week.

CBSSports.com BlogPoll Ballot — Week 7

After a bloody week for top 5 teams, Alabama takes the top spot over Texas, even after their impressive 45-35 win over Oklahoma.  ‘Bama’s lineman (on both sides of the ball) give the Tide the slight edge over Colt McCoy and the Longhorns.  Oklahoma State and Florida jump up accordingly after big wins.
