LSU Preview: One Giant Leap

After what can only be described as a staggering series of events last Saturday night, the BCS #3 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks face the #1 ranked LSU Tigers on Friday afternoon.

Arkansas 5, LSU 4

Kyle Robinson drove in Bo Bigham on a sacrifice fly to center field to lift the Razorbacks to a 5-4 win over No. 17 LSU and complete a three-game sweep of the Tigers.

Arkansas 4, LSU 3

Arkansas catcher James McCann capped a four-run ninth inning rally with a towering three-run, walk-off home run to give the Razorbacks a 4-3 victory on Saturday night in front of a Baum Stadium-record crowd of 11,103 fans.

Arkansas 2, LSU 0

Three Arkansas pitchers combined for a 10-hit shutout as the Razorbacks defeated No. 17 LSU 2-0 on Friday night in front of 9,712 fans at Baum Stadium.

Arkansas 80, LSU 61

Rotnei Clarke scored 25 points, connecting on 5-of-6 3-pointers, as Arkansas made quick work of LSU in an 80-61 win on Saturday.

LSU 56, Arkansas 53

LSU made just enough foul shots in the final minute for a 56-53 victory against Arkansas in a Southeastern Conference game Wednesday night.

We decide to take a break from the ‘Bad’ and the ‘Ugly’ this week. So here are some random happy thoughts after the Razorbacks’ statement win over LSU.

Ryan Mallett threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns as No. 12 Arkansas made its case for the school’s first BCS bowl game with a 31-23 win over No. 6 LSU on Saturday.
